  • Your experience with us is cozy and fun.

Participate in y/our design sketching & ideation as much (or as little) as you like. OR: Pass the torch to us and say, “Go!”. Your project process and cadence is bespoke to you.

No matter the scale of your project needs, we practice an integrated design process methodology that includes behind-the-scenes collaborations with (unbilled) engineers, builders, craftspersons & product experts.

By collaborating with these partners early and often, we manage your ongoing cost and time expectations; and save your project costs by up to 35% compared to traditional architecture methods that design… and then collaborate much… later.

Our methods have refined over 16 years of integrated leadership in custom homes - as well as corporate, workplace, public (library, city hall), UX and even product design. We bring these distilled design-thinking practices to your project scope - however modest or bold the scale.

  • “Takka day!” is baby-talk for Marco’s toddlers as they requested to “talk about the day” before bedtime.

‘Takka day’ became shorthand for their bedtime routine of conversational reflection on daily experiences. On the roses and thorns of their day. Their footsteps and toe-stubbings. Where they’ve been. Where they going.

We design for your days. It begins with ‘takka day’.
